Henry V is best known for his famous victory at Agincourt, at the end of a long and arduous campaign which saw him come close to conquering France. After negotiations had finished with Charles VI of France and the signing of the âTreaty of Troyesâ Henry was recognised as Regent and apparent heir to the throne of France. However, this claim was short lived as Henry suddenly died two years later leaving his 9 month old son King of England. We have a very small supply of silver pennies available in fine condition. As his reign was short very little silver coinage exists with only the groat, penny, halfpenny and farthing being issued.
